This page provides download access for the latest release versions
of VText.
Plain English Download, Usage, and Licensing Policies:
- Anyone can download VText source from this site for evaluation
purposes.
- No one may re-upload the source archives on this site to
another site without our written approval.
- Anyone can purchase a
"full" VText developer license at any time.
- Individuals who have not purchased a VText developer license
will receive no technical support from ViviStar Consulting.
- Commercial institutions adopting VText for projects
(in house or for resale) must purchase the appropriate number
of VText developer licenses once they have decided to adopt VText
for one or more projects.
- Shareware, freeware, or student authors
may ship programs developed with the VText source license without
purchasing a VText license until the gross revenue of
all their VText using programs reaches a total of $3,500 (US).
Once the total gross revenue from their VText programs reaches
$3,500 (USD), they must purchase a VText developer license.
- ViviStar Consulting reserves the right to exclude or restrict
future VText extensions and/or versions from this policy.
- All aspects of the VText licensing
agreement, including giving VText copyright acknowledgement,
remain in affect.
