V3dS

V3dS is a source code library bundle for Macintosh developers.

If you're doing new 3d development work and don't need to be able to run on 68K Macs, don't use this product. V3dS is no longer being actively developed. Use Apple's QuickDraw 3d instead. If you are tied to 68K, then by all means look into V3dS.

• Full 3d graphics source code library.
• Imperative renderer.

• Gouraud shading; z-buffering; culling; depth cueing; parallel, perspective, and stereoscopic projections.
• Performance enhancing "OnlyQD" and "wireframe" modes; full clipping; geometry pipeline access.

• "Triad mouse" to map 2d mouse movement to 3d.

3dPane

• 3dPane provides V3d integration with the TCL and provides a view orientation controller.

SmartPane

• SmartPane provides TCL off-screen image buffering, flicker free animation, and QuickTime movie recording.
• SmartPane functions in 3d or 2d scenarios.
